Starttxt is a piece of software I wrote in Visual Basic in 2002.

Starttxt will replace the text on the Start button that looks like this by default:

• It takes some time until the routine works.
• Moving the start bar resets the text
• Works on Windows 2000 and Windows XP with classic theme.

• This program replaces all “Start” it can find in the open Wnidows with the text you give it

• Get the starttxt.exe selfextracting zip.
• Read the Readme
• Run Setup.exe: Set the text and close it.
• Run Auto.exe
• Put Auto.exe into your Autostart.
