I want the Skype history to be exportable and readable by other programs.

• E.g. to search it with beagle
• E.g. to being able to copy/export the whole history

There are 2 ways to achieve this:

• over the API (this is not what we do here)
• accessing the files directly

The file format is described nowhere on the net
I reverse-engineered it as far as I could/needed.

I welcome you to add content here, especially to the file format section!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but no part of the Skype EULA says it is not allowed.
