MarknewestVersion is a firefox extension for marking the latest file version of a webpages file list. Example output:

===== Problem =====
You know the problem. Often downloading the newest sources from http or ftp sites with files in different versions, like at [[http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/|linux-2.6]], [[ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcc/|gcc]] or [[ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.2/|gimp-2.2]].

The list happens to be **not** natsorted, which means, the latest version of a file is **not at the bottom**. **Result: Headache.**

Or, the files are named very likely, but are actually different, for example extensions to gcc.

The extension marks the latest version of the site.
